1 ton coil springs on a 3/4 ton pickup

Has anyone ever put 1 ton coil springs in place of their 3/4 ton springs? I've heard that it levels the truck out and that's what I want to do. Any information is helpful.

Have you checked to see if the part # is the same for 3/4 & 1 ton springs?

Moog 6454 coils is what you want.

Although you'll need a 1" add a leaf in the rear to get it level after the coils

That's with the coils only^^. Sagged in the rear when I towed until I added a 1" leaf

If your truck has a small block all you need are springs for a big block truck. I believe there are two options, A/C or non A/C. The A/C would have even a tad more spring rate.
There may be a Camper Special BBC spring also.
I have in fact run BBC front springs on my 2x, but that was in flat land Sask and 30 yrs. ago. I used to back country cruise at 85 mph catching air on grid road intersections, so I know this combo does work great.
