I didn’t receive any responses to my previous post for the same subject so I’m posting again in hopes of finding someone that is running the same or similar configuration that can tell me what aftermarket headers or exh. manifolds that they could recommend for my ‘83 K5/4” lift/4WD/new crate SBC SP350 w/“D” port heads and angled plugs engine that I’ll soon be installing that won’t cause any fitment or clearance issues. I’ve heard that some headers interfere with the front driveshaft but I can’t imagine how. Thanks!

I think you want chevelle headers from some years. @bucket ,what were they again please sir.

I'm not sure for small blocks. Just big blocks and the application varies by brand ('64-'72 Chevelle and '68-'72 Nova, generally). I've been happy with the fitment of the small block truck headers I've bought. Some of them have very tight clearance to the front spring shackles. Most with 1 5/8" primaries should work with the D-port heads. I've got no experience with angle plug heads though.

I'm running hedman 69099 dport headers on a zz4 350 with dport angle plug heads, plugs clear fits well ,I like the ball collector flange I can't say I'm in love with the quality of the welds probably pretty average for a budget header . I'm running it in a 2wd so can't tell how well it clears a 4wd but it's listed for them.

On past builds I’ve done Chevelle & Monte Carlo headers worked.
These folks make great headers, you might call them to see what they recommend.
