@Streetdreamer … there’s a Repop “83 ‘84 Grille for sale on eBay. He said he’ll take $250 for it. To the first one who offers. And of course there’s the NOS pristine one for $650

After seeing these prices, it’s depressing to think about how many decent ones likely got tossed into the dumpsters back in the day to install those cheesy JC Whitney grilles that look like they belong on a commercial AC unit rather than a truck. Hindsight is always 20/20 I suppose.

It's sad, but I'm sure that's very true.

@CheemsK1500 I remember begging my dad to get a tube grille for the ‘74 back in the day. He wouldn’t do it, but just about every other square in the new had one.

Dangggg. $250 for a grille that used to be $50

Yep. I had a nice aftermarket one maybe 10 years ago. I sold it for 20 bucks, and that was 20 more bucks than I thought I was going to get for it.

This was mine that I sold on eBay, sold in less than 10 minutes. So $250 is a bargain

There was a guy this weekend that rolled up into the C10s in the City lot as we were all breaking down after the show was over. Some hood rat in a beat up old Accord but had a pristine/new looking '81/82 and an '83/84 GMC grille, both dual headlight and a set of GMC hub caps, a couple Pollack valves and some switchgear. My buddy went over to talk to him and took a picture of the Ebay listing number. That guy paid $900 for the '83/84 grille and was trying to flip it for $1500

My son is looking to fit early sheet metal to the front of his crewcab, and wants to trade or sell this front to replace with a 73/74 GMC front grille, if anyone is interested.
Just need to sort out the shipping ( Ha Ha )..
