Major rust repair 91 burban 1500
Heya all! I've got some advanced rust on the Ole suburban. All the rust is in the rear quarters, and the wheel wells. The wheel wells are 75% just gone at this point. I cut the not savable parts of the rear quarter skins out of the truck and stripped the interior to see just how bad it really...- Urbanburban22

Can I fix this by cutting out and only replacing outer?
My almost perfect truck needs some work. I'd Like to cut only the outer panel off the bed and weld in a bought patch panel or outer panel complete. . See photos. The inside is so nice, I'd like to keep this original bed.. These are older photos, but I could not pound out these 17 year old dents...- justhorns

Where's your line? ("Too much rust")
Where is it that you cross your line? What is "too much rust" to you? I ask this because I'm looking at an 85 Burb that's got more rust than I really would care to conquer.. however, because of its back-story and historical memories tied into it with my inlaw family - it makes me want to throw...- Chevrolado
