Need help with installing a 454 in a 1979 GMC Sierra 4x4 frame
I’m currently restoring my dads 1979 GMC Sierra 4x4. It came with a 350 in it. I bought a Gen V 454 out of a 1991 Suburban and converted it to carbureted. My engine is finished and ready to be installed in my frame. I bought 454 engine mounts but they won’t fit the frame mounts. I read that...- varnell1980

Sell 350 K10 for 454 K10
I have an 83 K10 with a fresh, good running 350 in it. Body needs some TLC, but I love the truck. I came across a K10 with a 454 in it which I can get for 3000. It’s very comparable to mine condition wise & has a newish rebuilt motor and trans. Should I buy it and sell mine?- NJakey
