1987 suburban tbi 350 overheating.
‘87 Suburban with TBI 350. As I drive up the road the temp gauge will climb to ~220-230, then fall back down to thermostat temp. It will do this repeatedly. Rebuild or Swap?
Current motor in my 86 K10 is a 350, originally 305 but the last owner had it swapped. I don't know how many miles he put on it but he said it was less than what the 305 had on, the odometer when I got it was at 116xxx.
