87 Shortbed tranny swap question

My 87 currently has a busted th350...I can get a 700r4 and 208 transfer case...my question is am i going to run into any problems swapping this?

The tranny is a TH350 looking for a transfer I found one that is out of mid 80's with a four speed.

Newbie question (transfer case)

I'm new to four wheel drives....I have a 87 silverado automatic....my question will a transfer off of a standard transmission work on an automatic also?
