Skyjacker 7255 dual steering stabilizer kit instructions

See "Photo 1" in the 7110 instructions. Axle tube and tie rod. Just mirror what you see so it's on the passenger side.

Skyjacker 7255 dual steering stabilizer kit instructions

Track bar? It all bolts to the tie rod. The one side is a direct replacement and the other bolts to the axle tube with one bracket and the tie rod with the other.

What would you pay for this truck?

Run, don't walk, away. He'll never come down far enough to make it worthwhile.

Skyjacker 7255 dual steering stabilizer kit instructions

When you click the first search result, it takes you to the skyjacker page. I believe are two instruction sheets because the kit consists of two different installations. One set is for the driver's side, the other set is for the passenger side.

What would you pay for this truck?

For me, that's a parts truck. $500, and that's pretty high. That thing is going to need everything. Not saying it's not worth saving, but it's not worth much money.

1991 Suburban 3/4 ton: TBI to Holley Sniper conversion - stupid, or worth it?

I've done some Holley systems for a friend, and I like them. I'm actually looking at trying an Aces kit on my burb, too. Not because I don't like the Holley, just that what I'm looking for is more my price range with Aces. What I have learned: -Install is pretty straight forward if you're...

Has anyone bought the Summit Racing AlumaRally Wheels 17s?

If you look at Summit's pics, it shows the back of the rim. Zoom in and you can see the Vision name on it. I think I kinda like the Summit centercap better.

Good wire for repairs and/or rewiring circuits?

I like https://acdcwire.com/ for various stuff. Even individual hanks of wire for odd jobs. Good value.

    Rebuilding rear axle DIY?

Only need a couple of "specialty" tools. If you can follow directions, you can do it yourself. If you could rebuild a motor, you can rebuild a rear end.

    1964 Chevy ll ls1/t56 swap

'63 with a 427 SBC and a 4L80e I HIGHLY recommend replacing the inner fenders.

What new tools have you got lately?

Picked up a "broken" 3D printer for $30. Needed a new cable. Got a whole cable kit for less than $15 shipped. Slapped the laser engraver on it that I had never really messed with. Spent a day figuring it out. Managed to make some sweet custom switch caps.

AN fittings need to be drilled?

For future reference, the Evil Energy stuff on Amazon is actually pretty nice quality stuff. I was very surprised.

I got mine. Remarkably easy. They dropped the morse code requirement.

Whip antenna for CB on a Suburban

I have a GMRS license. Just a fee, no test or anything. Here's a comparison between GMRS and CB. https://www.therangerstation.com/overlanding-and-off-road/cb-radio-vs-gmrs-radio/#gsc.tab=0

Searching for My Dad's 1979 Chevy Suburban

When I had my '78 K15, I upgraded to dual steering dampers. Helped a bit when I ran 35s. Sorta the nature of the beast .

What Hucked said. They might move around a little. Won't hurt anything. You'll be fine.

Will this lift fit my k5/jimmy?

It looks like both the 6" and 8" BDS kits come with lift blocks. I'd suggest calling them to see if you can get parts to make a 8" K5 kit.

    1978 "Duct Tape Camaro"

I neglected to mention a very important part of the story. This is my crew. The guy in my middle is my best friend and if it wasn't for him, this car wouldn't have ever been done. We've known each other for almost 20 years and we hang out pretty much every weekend. He helped me through a really...

It's not terribly expensive to have stickers made anymore. I've had many made over the years. Stickermule, vistaprint, and several others work well.

    LED conversion

There's two issues regarding turn signals. Different polarities and the flasher. Look for LED bulbs that say "non-polarity". These have a rectifier in them so they work with either polarity. Flashers have been covered already.

    1978 "Duct Tape Camaro"

Even after blowing up the engine, I was hooked. Drag racing rocks. I'm in it now. Now I'll never have money for drugs. November 2023. Stripping the motor to have the block bored. Big hole in piston, big scar in cylinder wall. While the engine is out to be built by a guy who used to do it for...
