    Need a bit more oomph...

    I am using a CompCam 12-230-2 / XE250H-10 in my low compression GM crate engine. Smooth idle, good manifold vacuum and low end torque.     Fuel guage bounces?

    My 86 K1500 fuel gauge needle would swing all over the place if the tank was less than full. Replacing the gauge solved the problem. Gauges from LMC seem to be of good quality, course all are made overseas.

    Mystery Bracket Under Dash

    That bracket is for the transmission kick down switch if your truck had a Turbo 400.

    New head unit turns on and then right back off.

    I just finished mounting a small amp to the back of the cab in my 86 K1500 using 3M double sided tape, amp is bolted to two pieces of 1/8 x 2 aluminum flat bar, tape is on flat bar. Seems to be very secure.

    86 K1500

    Was not looking for a 4x4 truck, this one sorta found me. One owner, unmolested and never wrecked. I had to have it. to make things even better the 305 no longer resides under the hood, a 350 now lives there. New shoes!
