Well, I'm seeing the sensibility in mounting it on a riser and keeping the parts that need to move clean by raising the shifetr and keeping it inside the cab, instead of hanging down in the dirt. Got a chunk of Fir I could lag to the floor and give me the 3" needed to run the cable through a...

    Three or four from leafs

The aftermarket springs vary in thickness. If you go to ORD and search the aftermarket import springs vs their custom springs, you'll see the ride and the height differ because custom quality springs are thinner and ride way better than any stock or aftermarket spring. $$$ Check out Jay Leno's...

Yes, I'm wrong for posting harsh remark. And I deleted it. Please pardon me Ricko1966 for being so rude. I am being stalked and most likely will be for the rest of my life because of the projects and business plans I wrote. Was tracked a poisoned traveling through 29 states. The 4L80 rebuild...

The reason you cannot figure it out is because your arguing with me on every thread for a year now. There's nothing between the top washer dude. What can't you figure out as a professional mechanic? Give me a break. What's wrong with you? Stop acting wrong on every post you make on my...

    Ice Cube Fuse Fail

This thread is supposed to show what can go wrong and how anyone without a clue can make a wiring mistake. It also shows how a person can write a review showing exactly how he screwed up and hasn't a clue what he did wrong. The story starts out with a link for a reliable Eaton Fuse Holder. The...

    1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe

Maybe the picture of the dash answers the question? If not let me know and I'll get an accurate answer. Oh yeah, it's mint. If you can find one better, it might be from a directional oil well driller from the early 2000's? Drilling sideways really pays off. There's a Marine Corps Flag hiding...

    1956 Chevrolet Bel Air Coupe

Next door neighbor's got one of the Tripplets. It's dusty from the winter and hasn't been polished yet. As you can see, the lines are very clean. The Odometer shows a slightly lower set of numbers, slightly out of alignment at 34832. The chrome is all mint. There's more pictures, if you...

    1999 GMT400 K2500 Suburban Part Out

Carbon is all cleaned and the gasket material is gone. Taped the surface with Jalar to protect them during the paint. The underside of the intake runners is not painted. You could find a table saw table and deck them with a lil' 4000 grit? They came out great.

    Electric Fan Temps

In my opinion, one should come on with water temps and the second with A/C demand, as required. When I ripped the A/C from my Honda, the secondary fan was not required for cooling. It never overheated, once A/C was removed. That said, the GM system runs cooler-ish as a stock feature. If you run...
