Seat Belt Question
Replying to an old-ish thread: I just sheared off the head on the bolt holding the driver side seatbelt to the floor. (I was trying to replace the seatbelts w. aftermarket). Replacement electric external fuel pump suggestion?
Thanks for the info, much appreciated! I have a mech pump on the block, I think I'll try just try bypassing the wonky aftermarket electric and see if she runs with only the mechanical unit. If not I'll swap out the electrical pump for something more reliable.- voodooskin

Replacement electric external fuel pump suggestion?
Apologies for my lack of knowledge but: did these squares come with just the mechanical fuel pump or did they come with an electric pump to assist? My new to me '85 clearly has an aftermarket electric pump on the passenger side frame and it's prone to the electrical connectors falling off...- voodooskin

Spare Tire Carrier Option?
Great idea. I'd love to hear how it goes with the hitch. I need to 1) find / buy a spare 2) figure out how to mount it (strongly prefer under the bed) and 3) add a hitch of some kind....- voodooskin

Dual Tanks with electric fuel pump
I don't know how these trucks come OEM. In my case, the motor got replaced last year with a factory crate at 90k miles, the former owner's kids were driving it and never checked the oil (life lesson there). He's a friend, no issues with disclosure. I've seen some posts here where replacement...- voodooskin

Dual Tanks with electric fuel pump
I have a pretty horrible setup on my '85 square / dual tanks. It has a new factory 5.7L crate motor installed by the previous owner, there's a mechanical fuel pump on that motor, Edelbrock carb. Under the passenger side there's an electric fuel pump added, it must be between the fuel tank...- voodooskin
