    Replacement electric external fuel pump suggestion?

    Thanks for the info, much appreciated! I have a mech pump on the block, I think I'll try just try bypassing the wonky aftermarket electric and see if she runs with only the mechanical unit. If not I'll swap out the electrical pump for something more reliable.

    Apologies for my lack of knowledge but: did these squares come with just the mechanical fuel pump or did they come with an electric pump to assist? My new to me '85 clearly has an aftermarket electric pump on the passenger side frame and it's prone to the electrical connectors falling off...
