Where to buy seal
Did you find the seal? If not there's a small shop in Tulsa called Lester's Gear and the guy working the counter knows his stuff. I don't know if they ship parts but it might be worth a call 918-834-36O1 he could probably give you a good part number. I got my 700R4 and NP208 rebuild parts...- Newcman1

Oil leak
Craftsman tools have a lifetime warranty so if you've got a cracked socket or ratchet that doesn't work you can take it to Ace Hardware or anyplace that sells Craftsman and they'll exchange it.- Newcman1

Small block 350 lifter tick?

What is this wire for?
Yes that's how I read it too. The dark green 12DG wire from the horn relay then goes through the firewall connector to the horn. It would be better if I had included more of the wiring diagram. The black wire from the horn relay goes to the DIR SIG SW labelled as 28. I'm not sure if...- Newcman1

What is this wire / connector
The attached may help clarify. It's from my wiring manual for my 85 K10 suburban with 700R4. My truck wiring does not have this connector. NOt sure why your truck does unless like you mentioned they used a common harness.- Newcman1
