87 tbi zero power
I would start at the battery and the battery terminals. That is the easiest spot to reach anyway. You said the battery is good...but how do you know? Put a meter on it and see if the voltage reading drops when someone else tries to start the truck.- Redfish

I would have thought that any 350 "from the '90s" would not have the hole in the block to accommodate a mechanical fuel pump, those motors should have been either TBI or TPI, not carbureted.- Redfish

Which dually - 8.1 vs pre-DEF 6.6?

What have you done to your square lately??
I have had surprisingly good results shopping for bolts/screws/fasteners from Lowe's. There is an Automotive section in the bolting and I have been able to replace several fasteners over the last few years that looked just like what I removed and lost from my GMC(s). -
2.5" or 4" Lift 1986 K10
It has more rake now. Both @danzey and myself prefer a bit of rake. I actually wish my truck had a bit more rake than it does.- Redfish

@legopnuematic is correct and so are you. There is only one O2 sensor and it is upstream of the catalytic convertor. I simply meant that with the extra air pumping into the exhaust and no cat to burn the excess fuel you may hear some popping and backfiring. Mine did until I completely blocked... -

You won't gain much, possibly not even enough to feel. Unless of course it is badly plugged, which might actually be your entire problem. It will sound different...better or worse depends on your opinion. Since yours is TBI with the smog(air) pump you may get some other issues...you may not... -
2 inch Rough Country Lift 76 K10
I am running the factory pitman arm. Since I removed one leaf from the front stack of springs and my lift is actually about 2" my pitman arm is still pretty much level. I thought/think that a drop arm is not required until you get around 4" of lift. But I could be wrong.- Redfish
