    Rear-end shot

Nah man...I was pulling my light trailer with my old John Deere mower. I simply turned the corner and it sounded like the trailer jumped off the hitch and slammed into my frame. I got out to check and the trailer wa secure. Next thing I new, she was a "no go" in either direction and she was...

Daphne: the 16 Bolt - shallow pan blonde

Well - I think Daphne done did go and get her tranny all burnt up! I parked her on the street, in front of my yard and crawled under her with plans on replacing the filter, fluid and gasket just to be sure. Took some pics and saw a bit of a leak. From what I could see online was 12lbs of...

    Funny sorry about my interior

I bet that Magnum is as cracked as my '88 K5's dash! It'd leak like a bad head gasket and most certainly add a bit of slop in her rear-end (pumpkin)

    Install door glass in sash

Last summer I removed my power windows and converted them to manual (and replaced all the rubbers while I was at it). I ran into an issue with the door channel's weld popping loose - I've fixed that with a rivet but with my new rubbers, the glass pulled out of the sash when I rolled the window...

    Speedo gone wild

Same here...when it's cold out, I can count on it acting up. It sounded like an electrical short the first time I heard it - scared the "god cleaning" right outta me! Thanks for asking @SDJunkMan - I'll have to try to get mine cleaned out now.

    Power window Stuck

I have had similar issues with mine. After posting on this forum, and not having a clue then about testing the continuity in the switch, I pulled the panel, snipped the wires to the switch and I was able to jump the wires from my battery to get it to operate...maybe this would work to get you...

Power Windows - Any suggestions X3...

My power windows (driver side and passenger) all of a sudden stopped working - no sound at all when I push the button. I put a new circuit breaker in the fuse box but that was not the issue. Any suggestions? Also, my tailgate window recently stopped working but I can hear a click in the back...

    How to remove glued dashmat

I'd say travel back in time and give a good smack to the installer before he applied the dash shag!! Kidding - obviously, slapping him wouldn't have changed anything - I remember seeing a ton of them back in the day. On a helpful note, I believe that Pro-Power Goo-Gone would do the trick. It...

    Threaded studs issue...

Okay - so a few months ago, I drove about a mile, pulled a U-turn and all of a sudden, it felt like I was driving on a flat that has sat for like a year - a bumpy ride. I pull over, get out and all of my lug nuts are gone from the front passenger side! I pull out my jack, barley lift the rig and...

    Kinda new here...

Thanks Big Chip - LMC has no date to be determined for availability. Haven't contacted Summit - but I will.

    Kinda new here...

I've been watching and reading for a few months. Now that I have a new-to-me '88 K5 Blazer, I have decided to take that leap and say hello. I am looking for a little guidance right off the bat - after reading posts about vent windows and contacting LMC to order my replacement rubbers and...
