    Truck did not come with a swaybar. I have a 92 K1500 that is getting a lift and a swaybar delete. Can the 92 bar be retrofit to the 85? Note, the 85 has -0- factory provisions for mounting a swaybar… Could buy an aftermarket, probably “should” just buy an aftermarket kit, but on a leo salary...

    Has to have a front mount dizzy to justify the swap. Had a 72 Cutlass sourced 455 in a 30’ wooden hulled cabin cruiser. Even seen that heavy (12,00#) up on plane? She’d do it at 1/3 throttle. Got Katrinad in Bay St Louis MS.

    Good ball joint brands

    Hate to say it, but they are pretty much all Chinesium now. The higher end line at O’reilly seems decent, have not killed them on a K3500 that gets beat on. My 85 C10 is still rolling straight on the oem installed at the factory. The bushings are completely assed out, but the balljoints are perfect.

    It’s a hard to find idea in sw Tennessee. As soon as a complete with transmission one pops up, it sells. Ditto 455s, can get Oldsmobile or Pontiac fairly easily, Buick? Nope. RWD Cadillac here I’d have to buy a complete car.

    Just put a Qjet back on, throttle everything is incompatible. Holley is going on the 318/727 combo it was initially purchased for. I do have a GM 2bbl I could try, but it is governed.

    The original issue 4.3 in my 85 swb is tired. Smokes like a 2 stroke tired. IF there is enough wall thickness left, going to rebuild it. RV cam? Retrofit roller cam? Thermostat temperature? Exhaust w/o egr or smog pump provisions? Already installed a non-ESC distributor (Jegs with 4 pin icm)...

    Back when “Ralph” was still red over white, I ran red 15x6 rallies with caps and rings. When I redid the truck in Seafoam Green, painted the wheels black. And yes, with open 2.73 gears, the truck got stuuck in that dip.
