New problem
Glad you got it. Where did you move it to? You want to be sure you have a big ground wire on the engine and another to the chasis. Then be sure there is a good geound between the engine and the cab.- Georgeb

Why does my door have slop?
I think you can drop it but you won if your only going a half turn. Not sure if it is captured on the suburbans or not. -

Draw a circle around it and then loosen it up with a torx bit from the end. Move it towards the insde a little. -

Replace the door weatherstrip and adjust your striker so the door is tight. -

I figure its time to backtrack a bit. Since the positive battery lead goes direct to the starter there is more opportunity for a poor connection on the ground side. Not sure what size it is but there should be a big ground lead going to the alternator bracket which provides the negative side of...- Georgeb

What happens if you run a jumper cable from the negative battery terminal to the alternator bracket? Or better yet right onto one of the starter mounting bolts?- Georgeb
