    Seat belts 80's

    I'm looking for center belts, bench seat, for my 83 K20 beige/tan/saddle? I believe there are 3 or 4 pieces, 3 buckles with the plastic (that breaks and falls apart) and a male end for the center. Let me know what you have!

    GV controller has an input that disables it in 4wd. That would be catastrophic !! Send me a PM if your looking to sell it. With the GV I can leave the 4.56's in my m1008 build.

    Tcc lockup kit problem 700r4.

    The circled item is an over temperature switch. It closes and locks up the converter at a certain temp. Pin A on your 4 pin connector is usually the 12v in, its the front out board pin. D is usually the ground, rear out board pin. The others are normally signal wires, if used.

    X'3 for low roller. Direct clutch failure, would result in no 3rd or reverse. You can up date to a th700/4L60E support, uses a wider/taller roler clutch.

    I'm sure they should be able to identify it. But, if you don't have any luck, post or send me a few pictures of the adapter housing. Particularly the transmission side, I may be able to tell by looking at it. All the 4x4 applications we have done, the GV unit installs on the rear of the Tcase.

    Many of the big powertrain reman companys ship there rebuilt units with synthetic engine oil 10 30. I seen np208 tcases with gear oil in them with no adverse effects.

    The rubber seals in the kits are to thick, wrong compound or both. They don't compress enough. Result, yoke is loose and in your 205 the internals are moving around too!

    If it still leaks, pull the yoke off clean splines inside an out RTV in the yoke, reassemble. I've had the the rubber inner swal interfere with torque of the retaining nut. Don't want to chance a warranty, the rubber seals go in the trash!

    That Palomino 15323 may be closer? Although if they're not right next each other, probably no one will ever notice. Know the reason many go with a black interior ! I have a white interior in my Chevelle, just as many shades as this tan/saddle!

    700r4 transgo shift kit tips

    I've used TransGo products for years, hundreds maybe thousands. First thing that comes to mind is, they make quite a few changes to the input housing internals. Not sure if you will have any adverse effects, only doing the VB and pressure regulator modifications. Good luck with it!

    The seat is mid 70's vintage and is being replaced with cloth seat correct vinrage. The other piece is headliner trim. Think I see a trip to the auto body paint store. The guys are very knowledgeable and helpful, the prices are horrific !

    I've looked at several brands on interior plastic/vinyl dyes. A few looked way off! Does anyone have experience with a specific brand that seems to match well? 1983 saddle, tan, what ever else they call it.

    I'd also like to discuss blasting sand media etc vs rust converters and orthophosphoric acid products. That maybe considered rust converter. Again this is not a show truck, I have a dirt driveway, and the carport has a dirt floor also. Willing to trade off some appearance for durability.
