    The wheels from the newer trucks up to 2010 fit our trucks. Not sure about back spacing for 2wd. Just missed a smoking deal on 5 Level 8 wheels with Cooper 285 70 17 tires. God forbid I score a great deal on something !! That's my life.

    Speedo gone wild

    Mine does that too, in cold weather, it settles down once warmed up. It does jump at low speeds also since installing aftermarket cable. I just cleaned and lubed the speedo head and cable, we'll see how it works.

    Thanks for the input guy's ! I'd love to go with those military 37's, but I also suffer with the short garage door syndrome ! Those will never clear with 2.5" lift. Probably will go with 305 or 315 17, would even consider 285' if the price was right. Hoping to find something used.

    I've run 35 12.5 16.5 BFG AT's for a long time, they look to be out of production now. The very limited brands of tires with an AT tread are scary expensive! I've had my eyes open for some type of 17" rims, no luck so far. The H2 wheels seem to be reasonable price and plentiful, still not sure...

    2x's I just looked at their harness, for $30.00, by the time you round up the plugs, ends, etc. That's the way to go!

    That appears to be a NP208, you have to check the adjustment from under the truck. Body, engine, transmissions mounts, etc will change the adjustment. Happens often.

    That looks like a np203 shifter. Your original should be a np208, aluminum case. 203 is mostly cast iron and has a PTO cover on drivers side, see pic;

    I have a C10 here ar work, customers. It has bucket seats, they maybe aftermarket seats, there is substantially less leg room than my truck with a bench seat. And there right against the back window.

    I would check the dent springs, as previously suggest. You also could have worn, shift rails, fork, slide clutch, gear. Bottom line, you're most likely looking at removing the tcase and a rebuild by a competent person. Be sure they understand that it's popping out of 4H!

    Has anyone bought a reproduction cardboard shelf behind seat? Also do you have kind of storage behind your seat, especially you could put a handgun or rifle in, or whatever. Most things I put behind the seat ends up under the seat.
