How to lift my 2wd c10

Rear could be done with blocks, springs, or even a shackle flip. Front, you'd need a lift spindle and heavier duty coils. I don't know the specs on the stock ones, but I'll bet you could find some coils that could work just fine. Have you thought about a body lift too? I know they're not...

1984 GMC 1/2 ton. Want to modify please help!

For get up and go, you can either swap gears, which will give you quicker acceleration, but drops your top speed and will increase your rpms at any given speed. May not do a whole lot to your fuel economy. Engine wise, rebuilding the carb and a fine tuning again will make her a bit peppier too...

    Bouncy speedometer

Was just joking a little bit about the shocks haha. Not 100%, but if I remember correctly, the bouncing needle is mainly cause by binding in the speedo cable since the input into the gauge is irregular. May just need a quick bit of lubrication. Make sure to use dry lubricants, since grease and...

    Bouncy speedometer

Have you tried getting new shocks??? How much is it bouncing? Slight oscillation at a given rpm? Bounces way up and down (10+mph difference) on braking and acceleration? Bounces, but wont go any higher than a certain speed? Used to have the issue of it bouncing way up and back down (like an...

Anyone use a DCC fan controller?

The Derale dual fan controller has a staggered start, in that the first fan comes on whenever you've set it, but the second won't turn on until it's 10 degrees warmer than the chosen setting. So if you have two hurricane fans, you may never even turn on the 2nd fan. They're rated for 35 amps...

Anyone use a DCC fan controller?

https://www.flex-a-lite.com/accessories/electric-fan-controllers/flex-a-lite-variable-speed-controller.html Quick Start kits starts them at 100% power Variable Controller Starts them at 60% Been looking to see how you'd wanna wire up dual fans to it.

Anyone use a DCC fan controller?

I've been looking at the flex a lite controller as well. I'm planning to run a pair of Procomp 14" fans (PC-2053) that supposedly pull around 1800cfms ea at 11amps. The flex a lite controllers are maxed at 45 amps of load on them, but they do have the 60% "soft" startup to minimize the peak amps.

What are these holes in my intake?

I guess that spot would also work perfect for a vacuum gauge then, huh?

What are these holes in my intake?

I dont have an edlebrock intake, but I can say that on my stock manifold the oil pressure line is at the very back of the manifold near the coil/distributor.

    Broken shock mount

Yep. Tops are both double shear. Just add on another bracket to the outside of the 2nd shock on the lower mount, tie em together and you'll be good to go.

    Broken shock mount

It'll be easy enough to fab one up instead of trying to find one. If you intend on keeping the dual shocks, you should add another bracket to put both shocks in double shear. Currently, the added on shock is in single shear which can put a fair amount of torque on that lower shock mount causing...
