    swapping 205 for a 203

You should try and look around on line , the doug nash 1 piece hub kit in a 203 is way better , (stronger & longer lasting) than the mile marker kit. They dont make them (new)anymore but you might find one.

    Bvllsh!t on craigslist.

What , I am a chevy guy but nothing is cooler than mopar muscle car's. I have a 1969 superbee and it's a blast and at the show's I am the only superbee there. I built a 1968 camaro and it was bad ass but it never got the attention that the superbee get's.

    Will they fit?

look's like they will fit. The bolt pattern for chevy half ton and toyota are the same the only thing you have to worry about is the center hole and from the pic it look's big enough. As far as backspace they look like they will be fine as well , (I have never had a problem with backspace with...

    Lifted test drive

Well the intake has been changed for sure from the pic and I would also check the frame at the steering box for cracks and those tires are 33's or better for sure as well

Found a deal on a kit

Go for it , that's a fair price. You can always change things around later. Try and get the steering arm though. Shock's you can get fairly cheap new if you have to , (maybe not the best one's , but one's that will work).

    383 Build

Another suggestion , have your machine shop check all your parts before putting your short block together. Eagle is made in china , (not saying it's bad) but I have seen some problems before with eagle product's before , (rod's not the same length etc...) , it just pay's off to double check...

    14 bolt ff g80?

Pick and pull , Last complete 14 was 100.00 , I took the open carrier out , put the detroit inside it and had the r&p set up in my housing , good to go!! and I got a good set of extra drum's out of the deal & extra axle's , (not that you will ever need those). :patriot::patriot::patriot:

    14 bolt ff g80?

Agree^^^^^^^^^^^ , I would go the detroit way and gut a cheap open carrier from pick & pull.

    Torque Converter Selection - AGAIN

IMO , (dealing with street & drag car's & truck's) I myself would not go cheap on a T.C. , it's the main item set up to make the tq. and hp. range of your motor come alive!!!! The style and stall of your T.C. is very important , (stall , loose or tight in any stall speed). The wrong T.C...

    14 bolt ff g80?

I would go get an open carrier and slap a detroit locker in there , then you are good to go . You can find 14 ff's at pick and pull with open carrier's for around a 100 buck's complete . :grd::grd::grd:

    T-case drop

With an 8" lift and a 208 t-case you will have to have a longer front & rear driveshaft and you will have to lower the t-case crossmember a bit. What I always do is use 1/4" steel plate and drill it , put like 2 plate's on each side ,(= 1/2" drop) and drive it down the freeway and see if there...

    T-case drop

NO , I would not do that , I dont think it would oil properly and I have never seen it done before. How much lift are you going to run ? Just drop the t-case cross member and you will be good to go , (up to 8" or 10" lift) , or change the t-case to an older model so the slip is in the driveshaft...

    th 350 stall size????

454 , big tire's , turbo 350 , tranny not long for this world if you drive it hard.If you are set on having a stall converter (not reconmended) you dont want a b&m , tci etc.....they are junk IMO. You need to call turbo action or continental converter's and have them build you one for your set...

    sbc to bbc

If you have 427 heads you are good to go. If you pull a valve cover you will see the casting # and then you can be sure of what the guy told you. :grd::grd::grd:

    sbc to bbc

Stock 1978 head's are no good for any real hp , but if you are happy with 325 hp max that they will do , you might get a little more with porting and such but most people would never waste their time on the small oval port heads because it's not worth it . I think chevy big blocks went to the...

    Lift Springs

Summit has a bunch of shock's as well for 6" and up lift's , skyjacker , trailmaster , superlift , pro comp , etc...... (not that I like those). :patriot::patriot::patriot:

15" rims on 3/4 ton axles

I have 15" wheels on two of my 8 lug square's , (no problem). Both of them have 15x12 bart wheels with 3.5" back space with a 1/8" spacer ring. I had to do a little grinding on the caliper"s and some on the backing plate , but very minimal , work's great and much cheaper tire's. My 77 crew cab...

I would check out your radiator , (I dont really do 80's but in all my 70's square's that I put big blocks in I went with four row's) as far as waterpump's and fuel pump's stock is fine unless your rat is wildman motor and with a stock 700r if your rat has any heat at all , (if you have fun with...

    How to add more lift?

Nice truck !!!!!!!!! IMO , from your pic's your lift looks like a 6" to me as well , (only a raised steering arm and your draglink look's flat) , anyway a 6" is no big deal for driveshaft angle's etc... If you want to get the front end up a little for cheap just get some 1" block's , (30.00 or...

    6.2 and a 454 weight ??

Complete I have read that the 6.2 is around 750lbs and a 454 is around 685lbs depending on what you have on them , I do know that with aluminum , head's , water pump , intake manifold and a mini starter and header's the 454 can get down close to a stock small block wieght...

Any lifted snow plow trucks ????

All I did was leave the gear on the truck stock and modded the frame work of the blade so it sat level (because I did'nt want the gear to hang down to low) and it worked perfect for years , (used for parking lots) , and I could still use the truck to play off road without banging up the plow...
