    Superlift Kit from Summit

You also might want to grab some hose to extend your axle vent tubes , (I like to route them to higher and better locations anyway for the deep water stuff)

    Bushings, shocks etc.

Get your burb on a level surface and measure center bolt to center bolt on your shock mounts , then pick the right shock's to fit. I have a spec book for rancho shocks , so once you know your measurements let me know and I can see if rancho makes something that will work. I believe that a 90...

    should i lift it??

Sorry , I like lifted square's so much I start to freak out and loose control , if I had space and more money I would cover my whole property with 70's square's and build a fence around them with more square's. Anyway , I would say 4" , I dont think rancho had 6" spring's but I could be wrong...

    Exhaust

I am a new fan of the moroso spiral flow's , (flowmaster in the past) , I just put them on my blazer , 2 1/2" pipe , heddman header's , turned down just over the diff. , with 18" chrome tip's and it sound's like a drag car. Loud and deeper than flowmaster's , not for everybody but I love them ...

Questions regarding Quad shock setup + 4in lift

I have dual shock's on all four corner's on my 77 crew cab , (just for looks) , but they are rancho 9000's and I have the rear's set on 1 and the front's set on 2 , (big block on the nose) and it rides pretty sweet. I would not have gone that route with standard , stiff lift kit shock's though.

    Superlift Kit from Summit

I don't mess around with any 80's truck's myself , (only 79 and under) but a lot of my buddies have them around here and we always drop the t-case if you have a 208 case with a 6" lift. Here's what I would do , install the lift , check all the driveshaft's , (I would legnthen them) and...

    What to do???

Yea , it's just what fit's good with square's; 33's=4" lift 35's=6" lift etc....... If you dont want to cut fender's and such.

    should i lift it??

She has the pouches now. The steering is great , two finger's on the wheel at 70mph and it only has a 6" skyjacker steering arm and I boxed the frame where the steering mounts.I also took out the 2 degree shim that came on the front springs , so the front axle is not rolled forward , so it...

Can i drive 14 bolt without carrier?

True , sorry I was just getting at doing it yourself and filling her up and you are good to go , not driving it anywhere empty , I should have made that point.

Yea, they have them , 166.48 each but it sounds like you have a good deal going on at national any way. If you end up getting them please post a pic if you dont mind.

    What to do???

Great deal , those mtz's would look hot on a 12 wide. I was looking at 16x12 , 8 lug wheels at summit and they had those but I did not see them in 6 lug. :big_banana_Dance:

    What to do???

Vortec head's are great , but you will need an intake as well. As far as a cam change , it's a bit of a pain in the ass , you will need to remove the radiator etc... to get the cam out and be careful not to nick the cam bearings. Another thing , do your leg work on cam choice , (I dont do much...

    What to do???

Yes very true , mickey thompson classic III 16x12 at summit 166.00 each and also cragar , u.s. wheel , has that size. I like to run the 15x12 , 8 lug's by bart but you have to run a small spacer and grind the caliper's. As far as tire's , you can still get the fat super swamper's , but some...

    What to do???

You have to pull a valve cover to get the head number's , it's a long set off number's between the rocker's and the block number's are on the drivers side , back of motor , down were the bell housing bolt's up , (kind of hard to see , but you can do it). The best thing you can do to wake up a...

    What to do???

Are you talking tire width or wheel width when you say 12.5 or 13.5 , I dont think they make those width's in wheels unless you go custom made. Anyway in my opinion I like the look of wide wheels no matter what tire you run , but thats just me. A 10" wide wheel is fairly easy on parts with a...

    What to do???

44's are great front end's The rock crawler guy's and big time off road basher's will say you have to run a dana 60 with 38's and bigger but that's b.s. Sure dana 60's are bad ass but they are way heavy , (not great in the mud) and they are big dollar to buy and rebuild. I have ran 44's...

    ORD custom rear springs? Opinions?

I have never ran the ord springs , but I have done a set up I liked in the back of one of my k20's. I kept my 4" blocks , moved my rear hangers back and ran longer, stock late model springs , (that were re arched at our local spring shop) and they had great load capacity and rode way better...

Can i drive 14 bolt without carrier?

They sell impression blue to set up gear's but I just use regular spray paint , let it set for a minute , rotate and check the pattern.

    Steering Pitman Arm

With out knowing the lift you have you will have to play with it . Get a 6" steering arm and a 2" drop pitman arm and then see if your stock drag link sits level , (like stock) , if not they make drop drag links as well , I dont like them myself but they will work. The next better thing to do...

I found a pic of my t-case drop I made my self , (super easy).

    What to do???

I always lengthen my driveshafts at 6" and up lifts , even if they make it in length on a 6" lift the front slip yoke's splines are pulled out and if you use 4wd. often the front shaft wear's out faster , same with the rear. If you have a 208 t-case with the slip yoke in the case and not the...
