    It is flat tappet hydraulic originally, so unless someone has installed a more expensive hyd roller setup it's likely still original, or at least still hyd flat tappet if replaced.

    I've loaded 7 complete garage doors on mine a cpl times and would never try it even with correct springs in a half ton. Second time I did it broke out the bottom main leaf on one side.

    YES, the Zinc replacement. It helps a little with the cold piston slap of my high mileage 4.8 in my Express van too. The Tribologist that posted his testing on BITOG, (Molakule) added a touch of moly with it too when he dropped a weight grade. Still less friction in his tests
