    Hawaiian Blue, GM code WA5190, in 1977 they changed the name to Medium Blue, and yes Frost White.

    Did you use the the 700r4 cable bracket? Did you have the cable adjusted properly? Did you use the '85 carburetor or the one with the 400ci ? There are many different variations of brackets for accelerator and detent cables for small blocks.

    The distributor in the pic is a non ESC. An ESC distributor has 2 wire connectors, one goes through the firewall.

    There are factory drain holes in the lower corners, you can see one in the pic.

    Yes, it's easy to pull out, the trick is to get the new trim back in. There is a special installation tool for that. Takes some practice to use it properly. Any auto glass shop should be able to do that job.

    Yes, there are lots of bolts under the bed floor, some are hard to get at.

    I had the same problem with mine, I found that fine dust (from sanding wood) gets past the filters. If you can get fresh air to your compressor, you won't have the problem anymore.

    The bedsides are bolted on with one weld at the back of the deck, easy to replace.

    The round cups are a different size, the old style will bolt on to the 80's box.

    Did you get the hinges off the box? You will need to change the hinge, they are different as well.
