    It must have been rebuilt in the past then. It’s got Moog ball joints and what looks to be brand new Timken bearings(there was brand new grease too) If I’m not mistaken, the GM 10 bolt came with two different axle shaft inner gear spline count? Is one better than the other?

    @Bextreme04 @nvrenuf Thanks for the information. The truck had a lift and some other aftermarket stuff so I wasn’t sure what was stock on the axle

    As the title asks, did GM use Spicer axle shafts on the 10 bolt front end from the factory or is that aftermarket only? If anyone knows anything about it, it would be greatly appreciated. I couldn’t fine anything on the internet. Thank you all in advance!

    Yeah, I’ve heard the down side to POR 15 is you really have to make sure it’s CLEAN. They’ve got so many products for cleaning that it gets expensive to do it “the right way”. This Mastercoat looks to be some tough stuff!

    Paint peals and surface rust happens pretty fast but nothing serious. It’s very wet in western Washington.

    And this is with a spray can or brush on? That looks really good, actually. That’s held up real nice especially for where it’s at. Those wheel tubs get abused pretty good

    I know a lot of people use KBS for tanks with good results. Aim thinking about going with them because it’s fairly cheap on the jungle store

    How much are these parts worth?

    I wouldn’t scrap it. I don’t see how I would ever scrap something that still works or could be fixed. Unfortunately I’m not in the position to store a lot of bigger things like this or I would hang onto it. I’ll post it up and see what happens.

    That’s what I’m thinking. I’ll list it and see what happens. You just never know what someone might need and may be willing to pay whatever they have to for it.

    Looks like the hole where the trim is attached? There’s a little metal fastener that holds it on.

    Smoking Ground Wire

    What does the ohm meter show exactly? There should be about 0.1 ohms of resistance with absolutely no current running through the circuit. Isolate the wire when reading ohms.

    I always liked this one. It looks good but is truck specific. I don’t think that would work with any color truck besides brown… it’s an idea at least.
