10W-40 for Chevy 350
The main reason GM and Chevrolet and all the other manufacturers have gone to recommending lighter weight oils, (such as 10W-30) is to reduce their corporate fuel economy MPG ratings. What ya'll think of these new wheels/tires? I dig em. Any shock suggestions?
I like the wheels they look great. As far as shocks go, I've had the yellow and blue Bilstein gas shocks on my '82 C20. They're good quality shocks and they'll last a long time but I find that they ride very roughly. I by far prefer the Rancho adjustable RS9000 shocks. -

Front bump stops
Anyone know a source for replacement bump stops? The regular ones on the outboard ends of the differential as well as the center one on the pumpkin?- mrdap

Many thanks! Very useful information. This is exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for. For 14 bolts, it seems that a 75W-140 synthetic is the way to go.
