Good rear gears
Jack the rear up and put it on stands. Make a mark on the driveshaft so that you can count the revolutions. Make a mark on 1 tire. Put the tranny in neutral and release the parking brake. Rotate the tire 1 time and count the turns the driveshafts makes. E.g. 1 turn on the tire nearly 4 turns on...- ali_c20

Vent Window rubber replacement or replace?

No you need the u-joints with the inner snap ring. Same as comes out has to go in. Buy Spicer u-joints.- ali_c20

Going from roll pan to bumper
Welcome from Austria. The roll pans I've seen did not require the frame to be modified. The bumpers (normal and step) are mounted with brackets and not directly attached to the frame. The bumpers use specific brackets. Bumper brackets. These are the brackets of 74 C20 with the original...- ali_c20

Bed Mounting and installation
Welcome from Austria. There you go. My 74C20 had only one long bolt at this location on the driver side. The frame is supported with a thick walled tube to avoid deforming it when tightening the bolt. Good ball joint brands
