Lets see your cell phone mount

The switchboard on the console runs to the glove box then has relays and fuses for aux lights, fog lights, inverter, winch, secondary rad fan, and two extra at the moment.

Lets see your cell phone mount

Oh its totally ghetto but I tried the suction cup things and they are to far away and I don't like stuff on my dash or windshield. So this is my solution. The holes were there in the dash and the spot is pretty easy to reach and if you have ac it shouldn't block the vent and it also holds my pen...

I've been jolted a fair bit back in the day when I was working with a good old Ukrainian electrician. He did everything live darn near but neglected to tell me so I would go to hook up stuff and strip wire and It was a rude awaking but you learn from the best and always play with wires like...

Any upgrade 'hacks' to the stock heater blower fan?

Just working on my heater box tonight before I install it and thought I would post some stuff on what I found and my new heater core. The metal plate to the left I the second picture let alot of air blow past and was quite wrinkly when screw in. So I added some good two way tape and seamed to...

Any upgrade 'hacks' to the stock heater blower fan?

I got a suburban with no rear heat and my heater core kicked the bucket and got a new one. It flowed way better then the 30 year old one. Also check were the ducting hooks up. Sometimes the plastic breaks and creates some bad airflow. The new heater core made me going from long johns driving...

Suspension issues - which new upgrage to buy

Good stuff. I just remember busting a sway bar link on the work van and it was quite interesting driving on the freeway and didn't see one in the pictures. Nice truck I like the yellow pinstripping on it.

Are you missing your front sway bar? I see the holes in the lower control arm but nothing there. That could be your floaty ride once those shocks get the fluid moving through them and get hot. Just an idea.

    Roof insulation

Was in the garage tonight and was looking and thought I would post a picture of what I did and did a quick measurement on the pieces and they are 54 inches or so long by the width of the cross bracing spacing. So they do tuck in there pretty good on the sides. My one concern on doing this is...

Was driving my suburban for about 3 weeks with no headliner in and once the temp started getting up into the 30s I was dying. So went to my local insulation guy and he sold me 2 4x8 sheets of foil back on both sides half inch thick insulation. I cut it to fit between the cross bracing and left...
