    Bench seat console

Thanks. I thought I had a few more pictures of me building but I guess not. Its got half inch foam on the sides and the top has some memory foam on it. Took some time to get the right curve to fit the seat good but with that little tung at the back it tucks in the seat nice. Here's a few more...

What have you done to your square lately??

Danced with the devil and tried the torch trick with my new found door panels. Always watch this crap on you tube and it actually works for the most part. Heck of a lot better then the sundried plastic.

    Ls Swap Checklist

Two things I can think of is for you factory guages to work there's a adapter for both the oil and temp sending units. Depending on the year of motor there is a lot of extra wires that don't need to be in the harness and are not to hard to remove and can clean up the harness Aswell. This is...

How many yolk teeth can you loose and still drive?

I've done it before. Had 2 missing on a Pinion and 3 on the ring. Was like well son of a gun. Put the cover back on pull the big pieces out of the oil put it back in the diff and drove like that for quite some time till I could afford new gears.

Best method for adding a fuse box/accessories?

Could build one of these too. The left side is power to relay and right hand side is power out from relay. Since I don't smoke the USB cig lighter and battery monitor went onto the astray. Sorry don't have a picture of that but can get one. And put the whole thing in the glove box.

    Elementary Question About Rocker Panels

I would have fenders and doors on just for mock up. I'm in the process of changing my rockers and they were not quite the right curve and the bottom lip would of been up a quarter inch from were the front fender bottom lip is.

    electrical Power while running

What year is your truck? Going by your diagram you got you just need switch power which is not a lot so here is a option for you. If you have a msd coil or super coil of any sorts run another wire from your battery to a relay and run it to your coil and use that wire that went to your coil for...

    electrical Power while running

I would run relays and fuses straight from the battery. Our trucks are really equipped with big enough wires to hold up to dual electric fans. On mine what I did was power from battery to relay. Then I have a thermo sensor for one fan that give the relay ground and the other one runs off a...

    Can we be honest people?

I agree on the drivers side kick panel with the pull vent. Not easy to do. One thing that drives me is the fact you need a pully puller to change a serpentine belt system power steering pumps. I just did one on a 70 chevy with the old v belts sure there was like 8 bolts every which way...

AC or not to Ac is the question

Well the mouse infested components kinda made my mind up. They had a pretty good nest inside of it and ate up a lot of the doors weather seals. Also I think the hood was open for some time on the unit cause the outside box was pretty brittle. Not the end of the world so maybe one day I'll get...

    Axle won’t go back in

I ran into this on my 70 c30 dump truck. What I did was get buddy to hit the pumpkin upwards with a 2 pound hammer while I was spinning and pushing the axle in and it worked. The diff had some pretty good wear but I just needed to get the axle in to move it to its new home.

    Leak in cab

So I had a new windshield put in a year ago. Bloody thing leaked. Window company came up with every excuse that it was my truck. I talked to the manager and I ripped out my soaking wet carpet after a rain and showed him my rust free floor boards and said there's no way this floor pan would look...

    SUBURBAN SIDE WINDOW WEATHERTRIP

I use every screw driver I can find to slowly work my way around a inch at a time slowly working the rubber in. With soap some times . Done it that way about 10 times on back windows and the sides. Now if it's factory tinted windows I wouldn't recommend that way cause its like a windshield and...

    Flaky CL MF ‘ers….

I hear ya man. Its almost painful selling stuff these days. Add says first 50 cash takes it. Buddy shows up hour late then says ill take it will you take e transfer. Wtf no go to the bank and get me cash so I don't have to go to the bank and get cash for what I want to buy. Or the question...

Scores from DIY Parts Yards, Pull A Part, U Pull It etc

Went for a part for the wifes truck and ended up buying a milk crate full of headlights for 20 bucks. So the bottom rusty 4 are the headlight buckets from my suburban strip down. Not rusty ones were in the crate. Just saved myself hours of work. Also the round headlight will nicely replace to...

    windshield antenna adaptor

I've been looking for one for myself around my wrecking yards for a couple of years now. Had some thing mounted on my roof for radio when I got the suburban. I've managed to remove two passengers fenders and each time I've forgotten to disconnect the radio antenna and screwed them up. Stupit on...

AC or not to Ac is the question

Just going on a whim here does anyone own a gmt400? I do like the look of a clean fire wall especially since I just bondo mine up and is ready for paint but I wonder if one of those heater ac boxes would fit in our trucks. I just know my wife would shoot me if I went and spent 1500 plus on a ac...

AC or not to Ac is the question

Ahh you guys are killing me. Lol. The factory stuff is big and bulky under the hood and I do have a nice clean ls to go under the hood one day. Do you have any pictures of what it looks like on the inside. Losing some of the glovebox isn't really the end of the world at the end of the day cause...

AC or not to Ac is the question

I would feel like a covid taxi driver with some plastic around me lol. Although it does remind me of when my inlaws had a rv and we took it on a pretty good trip and we closed the privacy curtains to keep the background noise from all the kids and wifes. It did stay pretty cold up there. I'm...

AC or not to Ac is the question

Thats kinda what I was thinking. Its alot of real-estate to keep cool. My daily beater van has ac and I only use it while on the phone. I think I'm still gonna pull it all out and have on the shelf for if I ever find the rear ac unit. The engine compartment does look alot cleaner with it not...
