    '74 Crew Cab Dually 4x4

Also the front leaf spring hangers and supports are bolted in and not rivets. The shackle on the front spring also looks a little off. Sweet truck and looks in awesome shape for the year. All the ones around here are toast and have been well overworked.

Hazard flasher and brake light interaction

Instead of a switch to shut off your break light switch run a relay that kills the brake switch when the Hazzard button is on.

    33X12.5X15 Mud Terrain Tires

I've been running the cooper AT3 xlt on suburban and there pretty good. Excellent in snow and water. Haven't done to much mudding with them but the suburban is already a tank so pretty tough to stop it. There quiet and have excellent tread wear and last about 70000 km and thats with a gravel...

    1977 Tan Color Identification

My very first square body was a 76 and its a spitting image of your last picture there as I can remember. The color of it was neutral they called it. We used to call it the Granny panty.

    Ignition power issues

Gm ignition switch is also not a very good design and can cause all sorts of weird problems. Also if you add any kind of a msd coil or super coil put it on a relay. Cause the ignition switch is the power to the coil.

Poll: What '70s/'80s pickup would you own if a GM square wasn't an option?

J20 All the way. Father inlaw has a j20 crazy low gears hauls alot and that thing is a tank just like my suburban.

Wanted: Spare tire wheel well and or part number

    Drivers side air vent

With one of these guys and patience. There's screws that go all around the vent hole. Or you can pull the e brake assembly off to the side to get a rachet in there. Also there's a seal on there that can be little stuck on.

    Canadian shipping

Yeah most were ups ground. And like 6 to 8 weeks delivery. I stopped by there shop the other day and there doing over the phone orders only and email transfers for payment. Not overly fond of that method.

    Canadian shipping

So I'm or was going to be ordering some parts for my suburban here so once I hopefully slow down in work here in a couple of weeks I can start doing some stuff. Sure I can get body panels easily enough but interior and some custom suspension parts are through the roof on shipping duty and...

how to delete auto door locks

On the right side of the steering column just above the gas and brake pedal is the relay for the door locks. Trace those wires and see if anything is tapped into them.

'87 - 5.7 TBI, Separate Temp Sensor & Sending Unit?

That kinda looks like the oil sending unit for relay for the fuel pump. Your guage sending unit should be between spark plugs 1 and 3 with a green wire going to it

Wanted: Spare tire wheel well and or part number

Got it out in a little under 10 minutes. Was relatively pretty easy. It's in pretty good shape aswell. Not bent at all and the worst rust is in the last picture. But now I got a hole in my suburban lol. And kinda glad I took it out. Salt in winter does bad things to nook and crannies here and...

    Elec window switches

I ran into this on my suburban and on the inside of the plastic connector that has the blue nut the wire was broken inside there. Not the easiest thing to fix.

    87’ Black Thunder !!!

Those are some major upgrades on that unit for sure. Did you get if for a good price since buddy got it on a trade? Definitely recommend getting rid of those rear blocks and do a shackle flip like said. Also I see your missing your torque converter cover. I would find one if you're keeping the...

Wanted: Spare tire wheel well and or part number

His grandkids run the gas station out there and they say he's like a grumpy version of rust valley restoration guy. I'll get a shot of his yard when passing through next weekend. I went up to his yard one time and its all gated up with a shoot first ask questions after sign on there.

Wanted: Spare tire wheel well and or part number

Don't got one of those. Here some pictures of the wheel well. Looks pretty mint. Little bit of surface rust on the lower part there but nothing major. Now getting it out without bending could be tricky. My seam sealer looks pretty intact.
