    How about an angle drill? If you do not have an angle drill and easy out's, maybe rent one? Also, a spray of Break Free or something to soak for a bit for "ease of knuckles" before tackling the removal might help.

    Stainless shorties most likely Chinese for $100-$120 and questionable fit/leaks etc., If you went with a Good brand, on sale around $250, high end over $500, good brand on sale for the fit and less problems and "headaches" Sensors placement or tune requirements might change due to more air flow...
