Looking at my LMC catalogue they look like single use clips. LMC sells them for $1.95 apiece, so they probably aren't meant to be re-used. They also have a cab mollding kit with all the hardware for 80 bux, which seems pretty reasonable, if yours is destroyed or missing. -
Help me fix my dim headlights.
Yeah I realized that the high beam bulbs have only two blades where the low beams have three, so I'll need to splice new plugs onto the harness. That shouldn't pose any real barrier to my finishing the project. And yes I do know that I'll have only two bulbs lit at one time. My high beams had... -

Yep, hes right! You can't see the seam until you open the door though. I honestly don't know what holds that cab trim on, I've never tried removing mine. -

I thought of that too, but my alternator is new as well as all the wiring! Maybe a high output alternator along with better bulbs? In the short term I'm gonna get me four high beam bulbs and very carefully aim them.... -

Thats a damn good idea! Using the high beam as a low and aiming it properly may be just what the doctor ordered while I save up the dough for the "Euro-lite" option LMC sells them as a total replacement, I believe they take an H1 halogen bulb. My thought was to go with those and if they still... -

Did you have to remove the gauges from the cluster to get at the bulbs or do you just like taking stuff apart? To the OP, I don't see where in the country you are located but my suggestion in this: If you can legally do it, strip the 305 of all of its EPA mandated equipment. Get the motor back to the basic piece of machinery that it is. You are 100% correct in your supposition that 85 was a...- 85k10383

shaved/smooth fenders, underhood inner part
I removed all the crap from my inner fenders during the engine swap and plan on filling the holes with stainless socket head screws. I wonder if the chrome ones that LMC is selling come with all the holes in them?- 85k10383
