what ratio of a 60 are you looking for, and single or dual wheel?? I sell most my axles complete. I got 2-3 sets of dana 44 3/4 ton axles around and several sets of 10 bolt 1/2 ton axles. I do have a 1/2 ton front here with no hubs 10 bolt possible knuckles -

Yea I really hate to part the 78 out. I'm pricing it about what it would part and scrap. Only problem with taking wing off is it would leave holes in roof. I have a nice visor for C30 but can't bring myself to drilling holes in a nice cab. This is just a few of my trucks and I hate see them... -
Bench Seat Not Moving.
anything fall behind it when you put it back in? I've changed seats before and put them in with more cuishion than old on and they sit funny especially in a truck I've drove for years -

1990 K5 blazer. engine is noisey and no reverse. nice interior, lift, fairly solid body. I have another 1990 K5 that is a rust bucket, but did run and drive for parts. 2 brand new in box quarters, tailgate, rear wheel wells also. package deal $3500 all of it. 1978 K20 pickup... -
Swaping out steering columns
Just remember to wait and get the 2 nuts that hold it up to the dash last. Otherwise you have the column laying in the seat in your way while you get rest of bolts out. -
Spring hanger rivets???
I just took some off with a torch, and still had hard time driving them out. I may try the air chisel next time. I used to just grind the heads off and drive out, but as rusty as everything is in my area that was quite a job.- towjoe

Summit Racing Dash Pad
not really a bad price if it's a replacement pad. way cheaper than the alternative choices so far. I get $100 out of a nice used one and I've got a waiting list. I may have to order one to check them out. -
Comp Extreme 4x4 Cams
the comp truck cam is a awsome cam. It works great in a truck that pulls or is heavy because of the low end grunt. in my big blocks we are running the equivelent to the 427 tall deck cams. Just be warned 10:1 compression will not last on any of todays pump gas, if you are going to put under any...- towjoe

suburban doors
I have some rear cargo doors off a 1990 suburban that are in real good shape for the midwest, a nice full tailgate off a 1988 suburban, a couple sets of rear doors one set power windoe other set crank windows. I would like $250 for tailgate and $150 a door. I also have lots of other square... -
14 bolt 6 lug
I don't belive I've ever heard of a 14 bolt ff that is 6 lug. The 6 lug rears in the newer trucks are sf and not near as heavy duty as a ff. Changing out to 6 lug on a ff 14 would be a hard swap in my opinon as the axle bolts to end of hub to hold it in and bearings diferent on ends- towjoe

6.2 diesel swap!!!!
Just curious how you did the glow plugs wiring? I got a K30 I'm considering putting a 6.2 in in place of the 350. Also how Much better you think fuel mileage will go up over the gas motor in you're case?- towjoe

dual tanks only one works
Are you holding the switch valve on long enough for it to fully switch? Could also be a pin hole in fuel line on second tank drawing air.- towjoe

Dead 700R4 - Now what?
I got a dead 700 in a K5 I got to deal with myself. Im not sure of a best way to deal with mine yet. I have used 700's, 400's and even a 4,l80 but not sure of the easiest route. I'm thinking of leaving my engine stock 350 fi but swapping axles yet. I was quoted $1100 to rebuild my 700 but I hate...- towjoe

I don't have any good extra frames. The K30's are getting rare around Here. I have a M1008 I'm cutting up in shop now but frame is bent bad and broke in middle from the crash it was in. The old K30's are getting rare around these parts.- towjoe

clutch pressure problems
i just went through this with my 2000 hd3500. the bellhousing bolts had broke off on 4 of them and it had one loose bolt on the clutch presure plate. the loose bolt on the presure plate made one finger on the diafram stick out almost a quarter of a inch further than the rest. we belive while...- towjoe

Custom Bumpers
I'd sell it if someone really wanted it. It's a 1985 K2500 suburban that's had a cab graphed to the back of it and frame streached to fit a 6' utility bed. It has a 454 V8 turbo 400 trans and 208 transfer. 3/4 ton axles with 3:73 gears. I'd like to see someone that would repair it and drive it... -
