What Ls engine should I go with

I'm very pleased with it. Runs great. I'm looking to get some dot street radials soon. I think I'm going to try the m&h tire.

    Wiper/ turn signal switch

Sounds like signs of bad switch or switch is out of adjustment.

    Wiper/ turn signal switch

Your high/low beam switch is mounted on the collum under the dash. You may have a bad wiper motor possibly.

SBC 350 with new cam will not start, only pops a couple times then nothing.

You need to get number one cyl up on the compression stroke and see which terminal the rotor is pointing to on the cap. You can make number one where ever it is pointing. Bump my last post. I reread your post and you have your cam and crank gears correct.

Your timing chain gears should be dot to dot also.

    550HP and tire melting?

I have a fitech on a bbc. It didn't help with the "two words". It has killer throttle responce though.

How to tell roller cam or not

The roller or hyd roller cam has different lobe profiles to open and close the valves faster. The lifter has a roller where it contacts the cam lobe. I thought only the vortec engines got the roller setup. Not sure. You can check your engine id numbers and probably find out what it has.

    Best mud tire?

I bought a set of mud claw blemished tires for my son's truck . 815 bucks. 35x16. They have a little over 20k miles and are about half gone. They work well in the mud and aren't very loud on the street. I would recommend them to anyone.

    The swap started today.....

Summit has all types of yokes and conversion u-joints. I recently went from a 700r4 to a th400 and that's where I found what I needed.

TBI rough on a warm or hot restart

I had a similar problem with a 350 tbi. It was the fuel pump relay. Took it off and opened it up and found the contact tips burnt in the relay. Sanded and cleaned the contact tips and ran it for years. It would run ok but you had to spin the motor for several seconds before it would start.

    383 Stroker build

With the 383, you will need to check for clearance of your rods on the block at the oil pan rails and bottom of the cylinder walls. Also a small base circle cam may be needed. Talk to your machinist about these issues. Check out some vids on stroker engine builds.

    is this normal?

Yeah, you should need the cap and rotor only. I think the cap will come with the carbon plunger, spring, and insulator that goes between the coil and cap.

    New driveline choice

If they don't want to move over, I usually smoke the tires and go sideways. That tends to work. Lol
