yea, I scrapped the front of a k10 several months ago also. I have a k20 frame I could take them off of, just hate to cannibalize a perfect frame just for that. :banghead:

They are treadwright tires. I didn't see a 31x10.5 in that particular tire, but they have one called guard dog that is fairly aggressive in that size. so far I'm pleased with them

I talked to them, they told me that they could modify a set for stock springs, but it would toe the front of the springs out. I just figured if I could find a stock set somewhere it would probably be easier. DIY4X may still be the way I go, plan on replacing the springs at some point too.

I have an 08 gmc 2500 hd, and the bed is rusted out, and I noticed while washing it last month, the cab has a hole rusted through underneath the doors on one side. I always kept it clean and washed, didn't abuse it, lived in town most of the time so no excessive dirt or gravel roads. kept salt...

ok, so here is another question about this thing. went to replace the shocks, and one of the rear shocks is gone. no big deal since ill be replacing anyway, but the upper mount post is also gone. so my question is, what do people usually do to replace that mounting post? the small gap...

bought a Milwaukee 18v fuel cordless grinder. invaluable. its great to move it around and get into tighter spots without having a cord hanging off it.

    under bed supports and guards.

If I remember correctly, I had a mid 80s k10 that had some kind of plastic piece bolted on there behind the rear wheels, I guess to deflect mud and whatnot. Not 100% positive, the memory just isn't what it used to be. Damn this getting older.
