    I did use new rubber pads for a big block radiator. I know you didn't use your shroud but just to help others I used the small block shroud with a little trimming .

    I welded 2 sets of small block hold downs together and a 1/4 inch spacer underneath them.

    Mine does that every once in a while. I can pry the button side to side with a knife and it will pop out. I found when I unlock the door with a key I turn it to lock first then unlock it wont stick.

    Couldn't you pack the bearings with grease instead of using oil. I think it would work and you wouldn't have to worry about any leaks.

    I had trouble with one on my truck. Then a guy at work told me to use epoxy. That was about 5 years ago and still on. I have put 3 on with epoxy and not on has fell off. I clean the windshield with alcohol and use a file on the button to get to new metal then glue it on and let it set overnight.

    You can adjust the fender when you put it back on. I don't think you can get to all the bolts without taking the fender off. Also there is 1 bolt on the inside of the cab above the parking brake that is hard to get to.

    I went from a sm465 to a nv3500. I know th3 nv3500 is nowhere as strong but the shift like a Honda instead of a dump truck.

    This or cut or grind the head off from the outside of the mount and use the nut to pull the bolt out.

    That looks like a plastic vortec timing chain cover. The knock sensor is above the back of the starter.

    Floppy A/C Vents

    If you don't want to pull the dash you can push small strips of black craft felt in-between the vent and the housing. I have done this till I pulled the dash.
