Is this correct for a stock steering arm?

The EBay seller I bought the steering arm from is “thepartfinder”. I looked on the site but did not see any at this time. Good luck, they are hard to find.

Wiper switch connector wire colors and functions

I found some additional information. The terminals are marked A thru F. It should be easy enough to figure out where A and F are, then I’ll know the rest of the terminals. I still have no idea where I can find a pigtail/connector. If i don’t find one soon I will try to solder wires to the terminals.

The wiper motor in my '73 no longer works and I can't find one so i bought a motor for a '82. I then discovered the switch in. the '73 doesn't work with the '82 motor. I have the same seatbelt set. I drilled the holes in the brackets to the original bolt size. I bought new grade 8 bolts the same size as original.

73 Chevy Blazer - Did this year come with parking brake switch?

My 73 K10 did not have the switch for the parking brake when I bought the truck. As part of the rebuild I used a Painless kit. The kit included wiring for the switch so I looked into adding it. I found pictures on the internet that show how the switch mounts. I bought a switch from LMC and...

My 350 shutting off while driving

If it will start and run you can try wiggling wires a bit to see if it quits. Don’t go pulling on them hard enough to break them and don’t mess with the secondary ignition wires, they will bite. I would try the wiring on the firewall and near the back of the engine where the mechanic may have...

    Rear Wheel is Stuck !!

I had a similar problem with the rear wheels on my K10. I tried most of the methods others have tried. I gave up on that and went to the hardware store. I bought a Nap gas torch (the yellow bottle) kit. I heated the wheel around the center hub for several minutes and gave a tug on the wheel. It...

Is this correct for a stock steering arm?

Thanks for the info. I lowered the truck back down on the front axle so I could get a measurement. I have 9 5/8” from top of axle tube to bottom of frame on both sides. Once I am able to drive it for a some miles I will check it again.

Is this correct for a stock steering arm?

Sorry, I could have made that clearer. I have a set of springs from General Spring. They are supposed to be the stiffest stock spring they list. There are four leaves in the front springs. With the weight of the truck on them, they are flat. I don’t think the front will be more than an inch...

Is this correct for a stock steering arm?

I recently bought a '73 K10 that needs a lot of work. The truck came with a 6" lift on it. I have removed the lift and replaced it with springs that are closer to stock. I am now trying to get the steering sorted out. I have removed the steering arm for the lift and bought a stock steering arm...
