i have tried the lower end monroe shocks and i just cant get any more than two years out of them with my other cars is there a better shock that is cheaper than 40.00 each.
i had a truck in high school that had a tractor muffler welded on it. it was not bad idling. driving down the road was a different story the drone was terrible in the cab.
but it kept the cops from bothering me.
i know of a replacement from a 91 c1500 but i would like a smaller wheel since im 6'7 360 lbs lol
the steering wheel already rubs me fat roll the wrong way lol.
single chambers would sound good on it.
i had a truck at one time with burned out glasspacks it sounded ok till it back fired one day and blew one end of the muffler out lol.
but on your exhaust you can move your muffler to infront of the axle and run the tail pipes out under the rear bumper and that will get it much more quiet.
i got 28 quarts so that should be enough to flush out the old stuff.
the trans is a rebuilt unit for oreilly auto and has a little over 20,000 on it the fluid is clear but it has started to darken.
i plan on changing the filter and fluid then try to get out most of the old fluid by running one of the cooler lines into a bucket.
drain 4qt add 4qts etc....
well since i like fords ( yeah go ahead and kick me ) it would have to be a 72 short bed f100 sport custom midnight black 20'' coy 390 FE T5 conversion holly fuel injection. 9 inch rear 3:73 gearing.
