    it can leak in the front and back of the i take where it’s siliconed to the block or from valve cover gaskets. should be able to tell. i would guess it’s the valve covers but tough to tell without seeing it

    did you set the base timing with the vacuum advance on the distributor unplugged? first thing i would do is check timing just the way it is. setup your timing light, start the truck, leave in park and watch the timing indicator as you use the other hand on the carb to rev it up until the...

    Cranks but wont start

    make sure the power wire for the distributor isn’t hooked to a power wire that shuts off when cranking. some of them do then turn back on when the key is let off causing it to backfire.

    instead of shins you can cut the spring mounts off and move them on the axle tubes. if your using shines i think you need one under and one on top to keep the u-bolts straight

    magnaflow i had on one truck wasn’t bad. the best one i have had and still have is my corsa setup. not loud just cruising, a little rumble when you really get in it and no drone at all. the magnaflow has a little drone right at cruising rpm

    lol. the motor isn’t actually all that big, i think it’s a 2 hp 220 single phase. they run a gear box so that’s where they get there power. the lathe i have on the other hand runs a 10hp 220 3 phase setup
