Some really nice Squares on CL.

If I didn't already have my square, I would take it on. Only if I could get it a little cheaper though.

I don't know a lot about these crew cabs but it seems they are getting harder to find, especially this year. Let me know if I'm wrong but this looks like a good project start. Not sure what they are worth in this condition so don't know if the guy is asking too much or not. I just really like...

Yeah, all those rust free vehicles in a junk yard make me sick. We would kill for any of those vehicles here in Iowa.

I know right! I'm curious to see how high the speedo in the HUD will go up to when I get the car running.

Yeah, would love to see that. There are a lot of cars out there still laying around and it's cool to see how they were left behind sometimes. It still amazes me how many old vehicles are stored away or out in the open too in this day and age. Even in a city setting, you'd be surprised in the...

I just love the body lines on those years. Get that thing going! That car deserves to be driven and showed off!

I really like the Porsche products but I obviously can't afford a new one. Any pics of the 67 Chevelle? My dad found the 66 in a barn in West Burlington, IA back in 87. He paid $3400 bucks for it! I guess that was a lot of money back in 87. True 138 car with black buckets and factory knee...

Oh I love the red/black interior, that is sweet! I do love that hardtop too! It's neat that your showing your grandbabies cool cars at an early age. I remember my dad dropping me off at school in Chevelles, Corvettes, and Camaro's while other kid's parents had "normal" cars. This was my...

I don't know what price range is high or low but if you have the cash, these ones are super nice! I love them all! https://sacramento.craigslist.org/cto/d/1989-gmc-jimmy-k5-blazer/6452359131.html https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/for/d/1991-chevy-k5-blazer/6472245641.html Really nice 1...

Thanks again. Sadly, these cars are seen as just "appliances" to get you from A to B. Most people like the Cutlass's from the 60's and 70's so these cars don't really get any love yet. Maybe someday. I grew up in the 80's so that's why I know and love these cars. By the way, I like your...

Found these pics finally, this is what the Cutlass looked like when I found it in Oklahoma. The pie alloys were peeking thru some bushes on a side street as I was leaving town. I knew it was an International car because of them...so glad I stopped and inquired about it. Very neglected as you...

I actually had a hard time finding those rims for my truck in my area. It took about a year and then finally found the Burb about a couple of hours away from me on CL. Of course after I bought it, they started popping up on CL like weeds.

I guess that's the one area these motors like to leak from, so I'm assuming but not sure that's where it's leaking from. I'm excited to test out the fuel pump and start diagnosing the no start issue but I also want to get the old 87 GMC together first.

I've heard about the vacuum leaks too along with the distributor O ring. It's leaking oil so that's on the to do list. I'm definitely replacing the idlers and tensioner when I'm in there doing the belt.

Maybe the service/replace intervals will be longer too.

No I haven't yet. I've been told before to change it by the W-Body.com guys. I did learn that luckily if the belt lets go the motor won't destroy itself, it will just stop running. The later cars would detonate themselves and the valves would hit the piston when the belt breaks. Interference...

I just hope it lasts as long as my old 94 Silverado. Had it for 12 years and almost 395,000 miles! Finally rusted to pieces. Thanks Iowa road salt.

I thought you might enjoy this, a little rusty but overall a solid K5 down at the Des Moines Wrench N Go. Luckily it was saved from the crusher and sold to a customer. Love the factory alloys, that's why I put them on my truck. I think it's a 1990.

Thank you very much! Everyone is so great here. I'm not sure if it is or not, sorry. All I know is that the Cutlass came with two different clusters from approximately 1988-1992, maybe 1993. There was a base digital cluster and a fancier one like mine with RPO code UB3. This is the base...

That's him! Thank you. Outstanding guy who gave me all the info on the car and has been so valuable that words can't even express. He's the one who led me to this forum.

Sweet, thanks man! It is a 4T60E. When it warms up here a little, I'll give it a shot. I post my findings.
