I would keep the the gears that you have now keep the sm465 for now if you want 5 speed I would get a early nv4500 I would also start with a junk yard l29 how a 8.1 swap would be pretty cool or a tall deck swap if you can find one and you really want to spend some money I think that a ht502...- ma3600vz

that mostly happens on S-10 10 bolts and 12 bolts do not hear about that much on 9.5 14 bolt or 10.5 14 blot or the aam 11.5 that being said it can still happen but imho the big rear were built better so less failure rate- ma3600vz

interesting so how did the super cobra jet get its name no do not put motorcraft in pace of the quadrajet I saw on a ferd site that they said to get rid of that 4350 motrcraft a put a quadrajet on that it would be a upgrade looking forward to the scj answer hopping for some good blue oval bashing- ma3600vz
