A little upgrade for my other Chevy.

The exhaust system is the first power enhancement that I will be adding. I will be adding a cold air intake too. Real power will have to wait for funds for a supercharger. The problem with modding a C5 is that they make so much power everything has to be upgraded or you just start...

A little upgrade for my other Chevy.

What happened? somebody must of bought it and forgot where they parked it for about 20 years!:) It looks really slick. What are you replacing it with, or is just excess inventory? My 95 SS and the very back corner of my 85 Silverado.

A little upgrade for my other Chevy.

The dumps were what caught my eye on this system. Besides being expensive to buy new, it's difficult and costly to install in the limited space of a C5 Vette. The guy I got these from not only did an exceptional job of welding them up but then he had the entire system Jet-Hot coated.

A little upgrade for my other Chevy.

Then what happens? I have a 95 SS that has been my wife's daily driver for the last 17 years. It's showing it's age but I like it. 197,000 miles on the odometer.

A little upgrade for my other Chevy.

Sure do! The day I got home with it 3 years ago, The way it looks today, Z06 wheels are the only exterior mod so far, If my wallet can take the hit, I have a line on a set of like new Pfadt adjustable coil-overs that will close up the gap between the fenders and...

A little upgrade for my other Chevy.

Had my 99 Corvette hardtop for 3 years now and had resisted the urge to tinker with it much. The all black interior was a little boring so last spirng I snatched up some replacement pieces to brighten things up a bit. Took these out..... And replaced them with these Along with...

    What was your first Vehicle?

What's left of my first car, still sitting in my barn. Somebody stole the trunk lid a few years ago, still pissed about that.

    Build thread 5.3 W/6L80e in a 1986

The hose with the tape on it appears to be the PCV valve, and I think you would want to keep that. Not much help on the wiring, I'd be lost if I didn't label everything too. I have an 85 that I would like to convert to LS power but the cost may keep me from moving forward.

    89Suburban's Man Caves

No, it was a purpose built ramp/lift for garages that don't have enough height to use a hydraulic lift. This one was built by a High School shop/tech class. I does have a rolling bridge between the two runners where a jack can be used to lift the car off the ramps for tire changes, brake work...

Post your toys, square or not

It's a 1964, first year of production. Came with a 273 V8 and push-button automatic. Not many left but not a big following of the early A bodies. I have it sitting in my barn and some a##hole has stolen the trunk lid and the transmission. Probably sold for scrap to get money for drugs.

    72 Chevelle Build

Impala SS guys are converting to T56 6speeds and running anywhere from 3:73 to 4:56 gears. with 5th and 6th both being overdrives you get the best of both worlds. With 4L60E's they move from the stock 3:08's to either 3:42 or 3:73.

Too many projects and too little money. I messed up my first post and posted the Impala SS twice. I have this project car that I really ought to sell, I also have a 67 Chevelle sitting in the garage that I spent a ton of money on and then let my son drive it,,,,,,,into a ditch...

The Valkyrie is not for everybody, some have to have a V-twin or nothing. For me it has been the best all around bike ever. Is your dad a VRCC member? A lot of good folks there. Spent a lot of good times on that bike in the last 12 years, some of it tooling around Florida during BikeWeek.

    89Suburban's Man Caves

    Speedometer cable

I guess I need to check a couple more places. I went to one of the chain outfits, don't remember which one, and they didn't keep anything but a universal make your own crap.

    Speedometer cable

It was a graphite impregnated oil in a tube that was labeled for that purpose. I pulled the instrument cluster, removed the cable from the back of the cluster and fed the lube right into the end of the cable.
