    83 C10 Grill

Taggin in to learn... Seems like you could get a catalog from any one of the many vendors that sell practically every part there is on a C10. Then look at the exploded diagrams, list and order all the parts you need from one of the ones that have the lights and grill you like. I have an 82...

    New guy from Missouri

Welcome aboard!!!! What part of Mo? My guesses would be out by KC or closer to Springfield, Branson or the Ozarks. I'm just south of Fredericktown, out side of town, but right above Cherokee Pass.

Sliding Bed back away from Cab

Any Ideas what HF actually calls them? With as big of a POS as my Pile is, I might need to look at some. I searched by Bodywork stand and Body work stand. Got a fender cover. I was thinking about building something out of 2x4 or 2x6s and putting some casters or something a bit bigger on it...

Sliding Bed back away from Cab

I have seen guys use like a cherry Picker like engine lift where they attached boards under the rails then straps from them to the lift and I've seen youtubes of them just using straps from the lift to the bed corners. At some point coming up I'm probably going to need to pull the whole bed off...

What to do while I get things ready for paint?

So, as I've posted before, my square needs everything... LOL.. I just got both new bedsides last week, not sure when I'll get them on. Hopefully soon. Then the next thing will be rockers (inner and outter) then doors and cab corners and floor I've posted about.. Its obviously going to be a...

Redoing the Floor pans in an 82, a bit of Carnage, HELP!

It could be both... :) I'm assuming the vent windows have been open and leaking for years. I'm going to try and get more pics of them in the next day or two. Been busy with work and other wifey projects... I haven't because I've never messed with any of this stuff before. I don't even know...

Deadening Actual Fenders, Bed Panels, Doors and such????

I may try a bunch of that for the cab floor and back wall, but I think inside the bedwalls and underside, panels really exposed to the weather, ill spray them.

Deadening Actual Fenders, Bed Panels, Doors and such????

Thats exactly my thought. I don't know why, I just want the whole truck as deadened as possible. I hate the tinny-ness of a knuckle wrap on the fender, shutting of a door, hood or tailgate. I want a thud, not a ring. Just my preference.

Deadening Actual Fenders, Bed Panels, Doors and such????

Anyone ever put deadener (Spray or Applied Mat, Roll or cut piece) on anything aside from the cab and under the door panels ? My new bedsides are due to show up between Friday. It'll probably be a few weeks before I can get them on. I was wondering if anyone had deadened panels like these with...

Storing Power and Air tools? How do you do it?

I do like those. I have two that I keep ammo and mags in. One half/ side is filled with large yellow buns that are filled with mags, the other side is stacked with boxes of ammo. The bottom shelf is filled with .30 and .50 call ammo cans of 556, .300 blk, .45 and I think one or two of. 40...

Storing Power and Air tools? How do you do it?

I looked at a few of those and i liked them, but I'd need one where all the drawers were like 3" or so inches deep. Many of the tools can get bulky or have off shapes making them take up too much room in the 1-2" shallow drawers. Then there is all their accessories (disks, wheels, bits, blades...

So, im starting to accumulat a few tools. Sanders, die and angle grinders, etc, etc.. Some power, some air. How do you store them all??? What have you done to your square lately??

Ordered both L and R bedsides for my longbed today... Mine are pretty wasted. Not cheap. After I get them off, I'll figure out what to do with them, someone may be a better body man than I... Hopefully next month I can order a tailgate and something else or floorboard patches...

    New to the forum

I would have never picked it from the get go on my own, but now that I've seen it on a few things, I dig it. If mine was that color, I think I'd keep it and run with it. JL-76, I know you said it was a manul, is it 2wd or 4wd? I can't tell by the hubcaps, which may or may not be what came on...

Tool Recommend request - For sanding and striping panels and such

I'm wanting to sand the crap out of my floor boards to get all the paint and rust off to help decide what too do with them. I'm not sure what exactly its made of, but there is some type of plastic sheeting covering from the flat part of the floor pan, most of the way up the angled foot panel...

More wiring fun...this time with a video.

Same boat as you. I've wired up tons of Car and home Stereos, and I'm a network Engineer by trade, so I have ran and terminated MILES of Catx and Fiber, plus wired both AC and -48v DC telco gear. Some of the big CISCO Whole rack routers have up to 10 Positive and 10 Negative Cables to power...
