New Here so wanted to say Hello.
If it was mine I would clip the roof off at the A-pillars and middle of the back window. Pretty easy job once you get into it. I did one year before last on a 68 pickup I built. I had to go all the way down to near the cab floor as you could walk through the rear of my cab into the motorhome...- cooperhw

Suburban! on CL
looks like a solid suburban. probably have a power wire going to ground somewhere causing it to shut off like that. Sometimes you have to get in a really dark environment like under a tarp/etc?? to see the short. At least that's how I found one on my last Chevelle.- cooperhw

What I did was take two large hose clamps and put them together. Used them to attach the lower rear trailing arm bracket to the rear end axle tube, attach trailing arm to it and install front arm bracket and raise/lower it till it's level at ride height. then tack both front and rear bracket in...- cooperhw

Calling all painters
Shout out to any of you professional painters. I paint my own stuff and have done more than one two tone interior, but it's always a bit of questioning myself as to which part of the interior to shoot first. I did the inside cab lid first on the last one, taped it off after a bit of time, then... -
86' my first square body, also I'm new here.
I buy body panel parts from LMC with no huge complaints. Aftermarket is aftermarket. Rockauto is my go to place if I am buying what I call cheaper items. They have a good selection and most of the vehicles never get another- cooperhw

1987 GMC R1500 2wd - Rear left drum brake backing plate
I am having a rearend out of my 78 rebuilt right now and will not be putting the plates back on as I have a disk brake setup for it. I think I will be picking it up by Friday. Too bad you're so far away. I cut up a perfect rust free cab a couple months ago to get rid of it. I couldn't sell it on craigs with no title. I salvaged the tunnel to use on a custom raised tunnel on my 78.- cooperhw

That's thinking "outta da box", or, taking the lid off the box? I like it. I have a mid 80's suburban on my property someone busted all the side and back glass out of.
