    interior spray liner

I did two types of Lizard skin (each took two coats). One coat for sound and one for noise. Sure wish i would have done it at the beginning of the build before "ANY" type of paint, primer, or sealer was installed. it was a beech masking off the world to keep the product off painted surfaces...

Driveway leaf springs and shock replacement or pay $600?

I did a axle flip kit (removed shocks & springs) last weekend. put the springs back on and bolted it up. took about 4 hours for me, but I'm old and slow. no biggie. hardest part i had was getting the last bolt to line up and go into the front of the spring. took about 30 minutes of cussing...

New swap project in the planning stage right now

Thanks Honky. It did sit on the rockers till I trimmed em off and welded it back up. Allowed it to drop another 1". Right now the bottom of the rockers are about 1/8" off the pavement. It sits down on the trimmed frame rails or at least the rivet in front.

New swap project in the planning stage right now

Well, it's been a busy last fem months since I posted here last. Built the LS-1 and installed it and the rebuilt T-56. Cranking it on the final bodywork to get ready for paint. Decided it came out so nice it deserved a better painter than myself, so I flew out my buddy from Pennsylvania (runs a...

I just read through your build. looks like you are almost there. Lotta work. I'm dead in the middle of a 78 C-10 build right now slammed on the ground. I call him "El Chapo" or "the shorty" for us gringos.

New swap project in the planning stage right now

Thanks. Yeah about what I thought. Could be done, buy no sense in it as I already have a good K10 shortbed frame waiting to put back into service. Gonna end up with a pair of frames extra. One is a K10 & 1 a C20. both long beds. Probably end up cutting em up and hauling em to scrap.

New swap project in the planning stage right now

Me too. I have no desire to sell my K20 long bed so I might as well put the axles under the shortbed frame and sit the body on it. I will have to shorten the bed or get another bed when I get that far.

I like long bed 4x4's. Already got one, don't need 2.

New swap project in the planning stage right now

Yeah, I know you're right. Not to mention then I have 2 k20's. Big whoop. I got a real nice k10 frame I bought a few years ago for $200 with the dual tanks on it.
