    Craziest antitheft idea yet.

Ive always wanted some kind of rfid circuit to power on the fuel pump relay, make it to where you have to have the chip on you in order for a relay to close

    6.7 Cummins Suburban Build

I've always ran Richmond gears, not sure if they are any better than any others, they've always worked for me, The cross over steering I think is a good idea, I've never heard bad about ORD, I have ordered some stuff from them and quality was good, never used rough stuff so I cant comment about...

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

i think we are thinking of different parts here, I'm not interested in a bolt on spacer/adapter tjat first bolts on and than uses a second set of studs to the wheels, if thats the case I hear ya and would not use that, but a thick piece of aluminum and longer wheel studs doesnt bother me

Rear wheels are sucked in way more than front. K10. Adapters? BAD IDEA? pics inside

I would never use an adapter on anything, but a spacer I would, longer wheel stud and probably an aluminum spacer, I think adapting to a different lug pattern is pretty stupid, but I dont really see where installing a spacer as long as wheel studs are long enough to get full engagememt of the...

thats interesting, i never read the eaton website, havent had an issue yet where it didnt work, i was concerned about getting stuck while stratteling snow berms while plowing, ocassionally I need to move a berm thats 4 or 5 feet high and have to strattle it to get the top part moved first, so...

    Traction Aid for 77 K10

Tru trac's are nice, I have a detroit in the rear and and a tru-trac in the front, the setup works very well, but the truck will still slide around easy, 5-600 lbs in the rear directly above the rear axle help, lower air pressure, I run 28 psi in my 33x12.50 tires and my truck gets around great...

    transfer case

yessir, the front axle from dually is only wider with the dually style wheel hubs on it, you can put single rear wheel hubs on them and it will be the same as any single wheel squarebody. if you look at the screen shot you can see where the wheel bolts on and notice the difference in wheel...

    transfer case

duallys have a wider wheel hub making the whole axle wider, just off the top of my head I think they are 4-5 inches wider, i took a screenshot from http://www.billavista.com/tech/Articles/Dana_60_Front_Axle_Bible/index.html to show the difference in wheel hubs from a dual rear wheel from a...

    transfer case

dont just dismiss the front dana 60, if its cheap enough consider getting it, they are getting difficult and spendy, you might be able to sell it and offset the cost of the other stuff your buying pretty substantily, dually ones dont go for as much as single wheel units go for, but on CL around...

S-10 2.8 TBI runs rough midway through warmup

It's been a couple of days now and the truck has performed flawlessly, I think the issues stemmed from a few new faulty parts and people adjusting things they shouldnt, I have drove it about 150 miles this week and its running great.

    6.7 Cummins Suburban Build

I used an Eaton TruTrac in my Dana 60 front, I am very happy with it, road manners on the ice couldnt be better, I have a standard detroit locker in the rear wich I really dont care for, it works great but you have to be aware at all times its there, like downhill on a twisty road, it engages...

S-10 2.8 TBI runs rough midway through warmup

well I thought for sure I had it licked, but today I fired it up and it high idled for about 10 seconds and started chugging again. S-10 2.8 TBI runs rough midway through warmup

Finally got it, the TPS was bad, the new one that was on there was sloppy, I did test it and it was within range but it would fluctuate voltage without the throttle plat moving, yesterday I put the old one on there and adjusted it, and today the truck ran flawlessly through a warm-up cycle, now...

do you have a clear see thru fuel filter? if so when it acts up pull over and see how much fuel is in it. maybe even pull a spark plug real quick and see what it looks like. are the intake bolts tight and gaskets not leaking? is there a fuel line near a header or manifold that getting hot...
