    73 C10 Factory Hubcap Options

Just an idea. Check hubcaps.com They usually show what caps were used for different years. I'm probably going to have to use them for some "new" used caps for my 84 C2500

    Got Stickers?

Had these in my back window but took them out when I put on my shell. Eventually they will go back on

Show me your 8 lug wheels!

I like the 8 lug white spoke that US Wheel has, but not in a 20". I want some in stock 16"

I was thinking the same thing. I'll look at that this weekend when I'm off work.

Major Score !… NOS Center Caps

The last set of NOS caps I bought were in the 90's. I put a set of 5 lug rally wheels on my 65 Suburban, and bought some at Brown & Brown Chevrolet in Mesa, AZ. $200 for the set. Hurt at the time but was glad I got them

Unfortunately it looks like I don't have anywhere to mount it to the block. Apparently aftermarket blocks don't have a mount point on them for a starter brace.

    Starter questions

I've never seen a starter mounting like the 2nd one. That looks like what I need for mine

So here's some pics of what I'm dealing with. The bolts are correct, and I'm pretty sure the brace will work, but I don't see a place to mount the brace on the block. The only bolt head I see is a drain plug for the block. The engine is an aftermarket 350 so obviously they don't put mounts for...

I was hoping to get the oil pan gasket replaced with my one piece gasket after wife's surgery but still trying to find the time between working full time, and making sure she's comfortable They are actual starter bolts. I won't use anything but the right bolts in any application I need to get...

I've already had one bolt break off in the block, but it came out real easy. I'll check it later today to make sure both bolts are tight. I have some anti seize to put on them as well

Need photo of mounting arrangement for driveshaft center bearing

I'm using my iPhone SE to get my pics, and so far(knock on wood, my head), they have all been the right size. As far as downsizing pics, I couldn't tell you. Sorry

UPDATE: I just went out and started it, and it did the same thing, but not as harsh. I did replace the starter and battery February 5, 2020. Engine turns and runs fine, just a little rough, so I'm suspecting the starter may be on it's way out. I'll clean all the terminals on Sunday when I'm off...

So a weird thing happened on Wednesday. Went to start my truck, and it sounded like when my starter had lost a mounting bolt. Loud clunk and I could feel it in the truck. No issues up until then. Changed the oil and filter on Tuesday and it started fine. I haven't tried it since as I'm working...

Need photo of mounting arrangement for driveshaft center bearing

Looking at the U bracket, it's 3.5" on the back side, and 3" in the front, as you said to account for the angle of the driveshaft. Hope this drawing helps.

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air More Door For A 16 Year Old

I'm a fan of 4 doors. Love the car and it's great to see you and youe son with a great project. I love the original battery. If I had one of those, I'd figure out a way to gut it, and use it as a small storage box in the car. Best of luck to you both, and I'm sure I speak for a lot of us, keep...

WTB a GMC Tail gate lettering

My 84 came bare bones and absolutely no creature comforts, so I dressed up the old Chevy tailgate with a set of 93 Sierra emblems from a friend

    GMC Tailgate Emblem

I put 93 GMC Sierra emblems on my Chevy Silverado tailgate band. Wanted to break up all the white on the tailgate and cover the CHEVROLET on the tailgate

Tailgate band for 1987 Silverado V10

I used a long strip of masking tape mounted on the band, then measured where the edge of the band would be on the tailgate, laid the tape down and marked the holes. It's a Chevy gate but made my own GMC one

    Tailgates

My 84 Sierra 2500 is as bare bones as they come. No dome light, manual windows and locks, and plain white. Just the way I like it. However I scored a tailgate band from a Silverado on a ranch, took off the CHEVROLET emblem, and added 93 GMC Sierra badging just to dress it up a bit. The current...

    1977 C10 Police Truck

I know these are Dodge trucks, but this is what I plan on doing to my 84 Sierra. Painting it Strata Blue(USAF), adding a serial number on each door, which will be the 2 digit year(84), and the month and year I went in(1086). I have a full lightbar with amber lenses, that will go on the roof. I...
