    Blazer rear seat arm rests

The rear seat arm rests on my 75 Blazer are dingy and cracked and I’m looking for replacements. See lots of new arm rests for 69-72 Blazers that look similar. Will these work for my 75?

What have you done to your square lately??

Removed the mechanical fuel pump on the 454 Blazer, installed a blank-off plate and after a bit of plumbing and wiring installed an electric fuel pump. Initial tests are great! There was no obvious place to mount the pump so after looking around I made a bracket and mounted it to an existing...

What have you done to your square lately??

@idahovette I got that heat shield from Jegs. I put one on my 57 BelAir and it worked good so did the Blazer too after a couple of unscheduled 30 minute breaks due to vapor lock.

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the proper fittings and insulation and made an all-metal fuel line (mechanical pump to carb) out of 90/10 CuNi 3/8” tubing for the 454 Blazer. Filled the line with salt for all the bending, which helps prevent kinks and flat spots. Cut to length, flared the ends, insulated it and installed...

    12 bolt rear differential

Does anybody know what “M69” cast into the differential housing indicates? This is on my 75 Blazer rear differential.

What have you done to your square lately??

The starter I removed has the factory heat shield. I plan to look into installing it on the new starter if that’s feasible.

What have you done to your square lately??

Finished my vapor lock and starter heat soak fixes for the 454 Blazer. Insulated sections of the fuel line under the hood, wrapped a section of the RH exhaust pipe that ran close to the fuel lines and added a heat shield and 1/2” thick phenolic spacer under the carb. The starter worked great...

What have you done to your square lately??

Discovered I had been saying it wrong: “We-And” instead of “Why-And. Shame on me. Weiand must have gotten real tired of people mispronouncing their name to actually cast the correct way into their manifolds. :D

What have you done to your square lately??

Installed a carb heat shield today and noticed some info cast into the intake manifold. “Say Why-And” and a part number, WCPSQ. Thought the pronunciation tutorial cast into the manifold was funny, and afterwords tried to look up info on the manifold by the Weiand part number. No hits, nothing...

Agree. Saw it first from the bottom side and was thinking “Oh crap. Hack job”. But when I pulled the carpet and liner back I was impressed. Well done and amazingly helpful.

What have you done to your square lately??

Changed the engine oil and filter in the Blazer. Also changed the transmission filter and replaced the old steering stabilizer. All the old fluids looked great and saw no metal in the trans pan or on the engine drain plug. Next up as far as maintenance items is changing the fluids in the...

What have you done to your square lately??

Got the Blazers alignment dialed in as it wanted to wander and not track straight. Much better tracking now. Alignment shops always remind me of a note written on the wall by a shop phone many years ago. "Ford truck be goin down road waddlin like a fat duck"

About to get my first cummins truck.

You’ll like your Cummins Dodge. Bought mine new in 1997, one of the few vehicles I’ve bought new but needed it for hauling heavy trailers across country. 12 valve, P pump, HD manual transmission. I do most of the regular maintenance on it but have a great diesel mechanic for some things, such...

    Embossed metal trim

My 75 Blazer Cheyenne has this trim around the door panels and also on the panels in the rear cargo area. On the doors the trim has worn where arms have rested on it over the years. Does anybody know if this trim is available anywhere? Looked at LMC and a couple other places with no success.

    Hood bumper question

I bought this set of hood bumpers for my 87 R1500 and just don’t see where all 6 bumpers go? 4 of them were obvious and popped in no problem. Wondering if these kits are simply generic and some trucks need all 6?
