    Cross reference the manifold part numbers for the 305 and the 350 just to be safe. I have seen both style manifolds used without rhyme or reason. If the manifolds are the same, you are good to go.

    Need More info Assuming it is a TH400 trans, the place to start would be the shift linkage. Then when you have verified that the column linkage is acting in conjunction with the transmission, pull the pan and inspect the internal linkage.     290cc intake on the Edelbrock with low compression? I mean, I would do it with the right cam and the thought of santa bringing my a set of turbos. These heads are a mismatch for you.

    I put the convex on the vertical portion of the mirror stalk with them tucked to the inside. So the convex is the farthest away.

    It will make a great core, especially if it is a "K" case. Make sure to keep the cast aluminum flywheel cover and the support rods , if they are still with the truck. If the tranny is in working order, use it! Get that truck on the road and drive it! Like what was said in another post...
