    Seized engine?

    You can also drain the oil from the pan and check for metal. Several things can keep an engine from rotating. accessory drive items can do this on old v-belt vehicles but with an 18" breaker bar you should be able to rotate it. check for a seized w/p, alt, ps pump too. one can hope.

    Windshield antenna connection

    Get a 1" x 1/4" piece of steel (with no sharp corners or edges) and gently push the gasket down away from the connection. Also massage the gasket down where the connection band goes into the dash. Then use @Snoots suggestion.

    Mystery Switch

    You might look under the truck at the crossmember for the transmission. Due to age the clips that hold the wiring harness for the rear of the truck can easily be pinched by the crossmember being installed after do a clutch replacement. One of those been done that moments.

    Oil Pressure Guage Mystery

    You have an electric oil pressure gauge unless the PO installed a manual one. GM started using the electric gauges starting in 77. A manual gauge will have a 1/4" copper tube or plastic tube from the engine to the gauge. I would look at the oil pressure gauge and see if it is a 60 or 80 psi...
