    4.1 mpg?

Basic tune-up crap. How do the plugs look? the wires? air and fuel filter? Does the gas cap suck air when you take it off? Do you have a vacuum gauge in the truck? you should see right at 20 Hgs. at idle on a stock engine. when was the last time you packed the bearings? Are your...

    K10 softer ride

I have a 3-link suspension front and rear on my Nissan. It rides and drives like a dream. It's a solid axle not an IFS so it's not a Cadillac smooth ride. It is leaps and bounds better than a leaf spring suspension though. And its a blast to wheel.

1973 K5 Blazer full removable top a little high but is it rare???

I like the stock one too. But I would do the Gladiator front end like the other one has.

1973 K5 Blazer full removable top a little high but is it rare???

Don't buy that. 69, 70, 71, and 72 Blazer/Jimmys were all full-size as well. You have to remember that there was Jeep CJ5/7, International Scout, Nissan Patrol, Toyota FJ, Range Rover were all coming to the market in the late 60s early 70s.

1973 K5 Blazer full removable top a little high but is it rare???

Rare... IMO no. Full removable top for 3 years, but 69-72 was also and IMO more valuable. It looks to be in decent shape for its age. But, I would scourer it for rust, Blazer bodies love it (tailgate, wheel wells, rockers, bottom of kick panels, and the front part of the bed which is directly...

Help bringing this K20 back to life..

Do you have emissions testing where you are at? If not, remove all the emissions crap. On a vehicle that has sat for a while, I will generally give it a tune-up. Filters (air and fuel), plugs, wires (if they are old), timing, etc. Vacuum lines, on a non-emissions vehicle IIRC, there was...

    Engine installation 78 K25

You can leave the trans/tcase in. When you install the clutch assembly on the flywheel, ensure you have the alignment tool with a tooth on top, then place trans in neutral and align the input shaft with a tooth on top. If you have a engine leveler attached to the hoist it will make it easier too.

    Oil pressure

Change the oil/filter, connect an oil pressure gauge to the side of the block by the oil filter and retest. Chances are it's a tired engine, oil galleys are partially clogged, oil pump is tired, old oil in the line from the top of the block to the gauge, etc.
